A fascinating colony of coloured worms similar to Feather dusters. These colonial species grow in large coral colonies like Cyphastrea, Porites and Montipora. They filter feed and require pristine water, stable conditions, good flow, and regular broadcast feeding. These colonies also sometimes come with a species of filter feeding hermit crabs that live in the holes of dead worms.
Requirements are Moderate to high flow and very stable/clean water parameters for the health of the worms. Broadcast feeding of powdered coral food annually will benefit the worms long term aswell.
